Ferryscanner is looking for a talented UX Copywriter to join our team, someone who crafts clear and intuitive user experiences through words. In this role, you will play a key part in shaping the experience of millions of travelers using our platform. You will create clear, concise, and user-friendly copy across our website and mobile experience, from search and booking flows to onboarding and notifications.

Your words will guide users through their ferry booking journey, making the experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Write clear and concise UX copy across Ferryscanner’s platform, including buttons, forms, tooltips, notifications, onboarding flows, and error messages

  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Content and SEO Specialists, Frontend team, Designers and Engineers to improve user journeys and reduce friction in key flows such as search, booking, and account management

  • Translate complex product functionality into simple and user-friendly language

  • Ensure consistency of tone of voice and terminology across the product

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of content guidelines and UX writing standards

  • Participate in product discovery, design reviews, and testing processes

  • Use user insights, data, and A/B testing to iterate and improve copy

  • Work with the marketing and customer success teams when product content intersects with user communication

  • Continuously improve the clarity, accessibility, and usability of the product experience

Job requirements

Qualifications and key competencies

  • Native Greek speaker with excellent writing and editing skills; excellent knowledge of English

  • 2–4 years of experience in UX writing or product copywriting for digital products is a must!

  • A portfolio showcasing examples of UX writing, product copy, or microcopy

  • Ability to write clear, concise, and user-focused copy

  • Experience collaborating with product, design, and engineering teams

  • Understanding of user experience principles and user-centered design

  • Familiarity with design tools such as Figma and collaboration tools like Jira or similar is considered a plus

  • Experience working with data, user feedback, or A/B testing to improve content is considered a plus

  • Strong attention to detail and consistency

  • Collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment
