Are you skilled in crafting compelling content? Do you have a flair for writing in Croatian that engages readers and inspires them to explore the world? If so, Ferryscanner is looking for a talented Croatian Content Specialist to join our dynamic team.
As a Croatian Content Specialist at Ferryscanner, you will be responsible for producing compelling and informative content for our website, blog posts, newsletters, and various marketing materials. Your words will play a crucial role in inspiring and guiding our audience to discover their ideal ferry journeys.
Responsibilities
Create engaging and persuasive copy in Croatian for Ferryscanner's website, blog, newsletters, social media, and other marketing channels
Research ferry destinations, routes, and related travel topics to generate unique and relevant content
Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with our brand voice and objectives
Write clear and concise destination descriptions, landing page copy, and promotional materials
Use SEO best practices to optimize Croatian-language content, including keyword research, meta descriptions, and link-building strategies, while collaborating with SEO specialists to improve search visibility and drive organic traffic from Croatian-language content
Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
Stay updated on industry trends, travel news, and ferry-related developments to provide up-to-date and valuable information to our audience
Assist in localizing content from English to Croatian and vice versa, maintaining a high level of accuracy and cultural relevance
Job requirements
Qualifications and key competencies
Native Croatian speaker with excellent writing and editing skills is a must
Proven experience as a copywriter, content creator, or similar role is a must (preferably in the travel or hospitality industry)
A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your ability to craft compelling content would be great
Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices and ability to implement them in Croatian content
Familiarity with SEO tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Google Search Console etc.
Familiarity with content management systems (CMS)
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
A keen eye for detail and exceptional proofreading and editing abilities
Creativity and strong research skills
